Starting a new year

Today is my 56th birthday and I'm celebrating by creating a blog. The idea of blogging has been bumping around in my head for at least a year and is now a reality. For now, it's starting out very simple and bare bones. In the future it's my hope to document my life, with words and pictures, in Northwest Oregon in a cozy little home that we decided to name Cherry Blossom Cottage. What I'm really looking forward to is connecting with other people, especially quilters, across the country and even around the world through the miracle of the "blog-o-sphere". I hope to meet you soon.
